I can't understand any of the negative reviews for this story or for any of Ms. Gaines' stories. All of them are warm and fun. I appreciate that though the attraction between the characters is warm like any relationship is between people who are attracted to one another, they don't end up in the bedroom and there's nothing explicit described. Now I'll add the review I've written for each of the stories that I've read: I've just about read all of the books that Ms. Gaines has written. I can't believe how different each of Ms. Gaines stories has been and how entertaining. Her Regency stories are as entertaining as her contemporary stories are. I want to name a favorite, but I can't choose. I've loved each one. Thank you, Ms. Gaines, for the hours of enjoyment you've given me. Don't stop writing.

Her Best Friend Wedding Abby Gaines Books Reviews

When did Sadie Beecham get those curves? She'd always been the geek next door, his baby sister Meg's brainy best friend. Smart, sure. But hot? He would have never guessed it before. Now, Trey Kincaid's imagining all sorts of things. And none of them has to do with Sadie's gifted mind.

A mind, he discovers, she's clearly lost Because she thinks she's in love with Meg's fiancé, And that's an obsession he's determined to put an end to one way or the other.
Didn't really like it. Story didn't develop to be interesting enough.
This book was a super quick read. It was a fun read. A little bit cheesy, but you want it to end happily ever after.
I really fell in love with the characters in this book. It was a quick read for me because I didn't want to put it down. The sexual tension is great, and the slow realization of love is believable - not cheesy. The characters are rounded, the plot is interesting and well developed and the writing and emotion are steady.
Highly recommend.
P.S. There is not a love scene in this novel, which would normally be a negative for me, but the sexual tension was so good, I couldn't help but still give it 5 stars.
Sadie Beecham has it in her mind that Daniel is "The One." Ok. But I think Sadie goes to far when the feelings aren't really reciprocated. As far as Trey Kincaid, he's more aloft then anything. I think Gaines should have worked more on his transgression of "just a big brother protecting his sister's wedding" to "falling in love with sister's bff." I didn't really think Trey was in love until almost the end.

The character build was ok. The facts about Saddie's job as a scientist was too much information needed. I skipped over a bunch of that because it drew me away from the romantic story. Sadie also annoyed me. She's supposed to be really smart, but the I didn't believe it.

This was an ok read. I read this in one day. It was a really quick typical read. As a hopeless romantic, I've kept this on my kindle for when I crave it. I've read this twice now since I've purchased it in May 2012.
Cute little story that I was able to read in a matter of a couple hours. I liked the quick easy banter between Trey & Sadie. Her determination to "get" Daniel I thought dragged a bit too much throughout the book. I enjoyed being able to see the other characters interpretation of events as they unfolded as well. All in all a nice lil read.
This by far has to be the worst book I have read. Where to start? First I didn't know if the Arthur of this book was trying to write a romance novel, a landscaping book or a book about hybrid wheat products. This book was all over the place. Don't even get me started about the characters. The person who was supposed to be the slut of the story was the only one with the common sense in the book. The main character Sadie starts out by telling her roommate Meg that she has invited someone over for dinner and Meg draws a conclusion that Sadie likes this guy, but goes on to start dating him anyways. What kind of friend does that? And then we are supposed to feel sorry for Meg when Sadie tries to ruin Meg's relationship? I know books are wrote sometimes so you can escape reality. I know that fiction books are not always believable, but this book was so un-believable it was crazy! It was like watching a tragic accident, you knew it was horrible and shouldn't watch, but you just can't look away. I kept reading in hopes that something would change along the way to make this book at least decent, but no it was disappointing from beginning to end. In conclusion people, don't waste your money and if it is free then don't waste your space. I wouldn't even use this book to kill a bug!
